A more historical place. The dirt road drive there was bumpy.
Bleak but fascinating with stunning views of the raw Pacific. Must have 4WD to handle rough road. Road is a dead end which is not obvious from the map.
4WD required! Do not attempt this in any car with a low clearance (such as a minivan) unless you want to call AAA and have them come pick up the undercarriage of your car in BFE. We had to get out and hike eventually. It was beautiful, but ultimately not worth it
